Stadium Scene [724,000 triangles]

This scene was created as an establishing shot for an animation. It was created very early in 2004. The scene's buildings are slightly different duplicates of simple cube shapes. The freeway in the background is full of low poly cars that are animated in both directions. The park in the background was created entirely of paint effects trees. As this was a very early model, knowledge was limited on scene creation and there are models in the environment that are never seen on camera. The parking lot is littered with dozens of light poles and signs that never ended up near the camera. The parking lot texture was created from a high res top down orthographic render of around 10,000 extrememly low poly cars. The stadium, which is around 80,000 polygons, has 3 or 4 procedural textures and bump maps applied, the remainder of the scene was colored with simple shader colors.
